I choose to do a logo such as this because one of my hobbies is scrapbooking and the majority of the photos I take are of my family. I choose the wording, moments in time, because each picture captures memories of people, places, and important life events.

Cropping

This is one of the photos that I did while learning how to control the aperture to create depth. I liked this photo, but even with several adjustments and many pictures later, I still could not get the hammock to get out of focus.









After cropping this photo, I was able to adjust the positioning of my daughter and eliminate the hammock. She is now off center and is still framed by the pine tree branches. Thus drawing the eye towards her even more.

Adjusting Photos with Photo Enhancing Software

This first picture is one that I took without flash at 6pm. It was a picture that represents how lighting from different times of the day changes the photo. I do not like this picture because I think that the poor lighting causes the picture to exhibit more "cooler" colors.








This is the same photo as above, but it has been enhanced in order to brighten up the photo. I also added some warm tones which seem to increase the balance of colors in the picture. You can now clearly tell that the sun was setting to the left of the picture. You can also see the various colors in the tree bark and on the large rock.
